The Aida handwoven typha storage basket set is a set of three storage baskets with lids in natural cream Typha and natural blue dye.   These hampers bring amazing Senegalese artisanry to your home and can be used as decorative baskets or large laundry baskets.  It exemplifies amazing craftsmanship and is surprisingly sturdy. The hampers are hand-woven by a cooperative of more than 100 Wolof women in West African using natural grasses and plastic strips.  You will see the amazing skill it takes to craft this basket which will last for generations.  It is a beautiful and meaningful addition to any décor.  This is a fair-trade product from a woman-owned organization.

Dust or vacuum your basket on a regular basis, wiping with a damp cloth if necessary.  Do not rub stains or spills from your basket as this may spread the stain and loosen the fibers.  Do not submerge or get your basket wet.  Be sure to keep out of direct sunlight, or color can change and fade.
